Split Steam
Thermolec’s Acu-Steam humidifier line has a new companion. To be able to provide the power of steam for houses and condos without duct work, we developed the Split Steam which has a steam generator and a steam distribution module which contains a quiet fan to gently distribute the sanitized steam into your environment. Split-Steam Humidifiers are the evolution of Acu-Steam humidifiers by Thermolec, an industry leader in comfort heating products. Its compact size and standard features make it the easiest to install, operate and maintain. Specifically designed for locations without ductwork, the steam distribution module is wall mounted. The quiet electric fan is mounted in the wall leaving only the low profile faceplate exposed on the finished wall. Mounting of the steam generator section is done in a utility room/closet with access to a cold water line, electricity and a proper drain. With a quick release stainless steel tank that has no electrical or plumbing connections to simplify cleaning, there is no need to buy costly replacement tanks or liners. The tank is equipped with a siphon drain which eliminates the chance of blocked solenoid valves or pumps and water is drained at safe temperature below 60 ºC (140 ºF). L’unité Split Steam est dotée d’un générateur de vapeur ainsi que d’un module de distribution contenant un ventilateur silencieux permettant de distribuer uniformément et efficacement l’humidité dans votre environnement. Les humidificateurs Split-Steam représentent la toute dernière innovation de la série Acu-Steam de Thermolec, meneur de l’industrie en matière de chauffage et de ventilation. Avec son design intelligent et compact, le Split-Steam est l’unité la plus simple à installer et à entretenir. Conçu pour des emplacements sans conduits d’air, le Split-Steam est muni d’un module de distribution de vapeur mural motorisé. Ce module de distribution mural comprend un ventilateur silencieux et ne laisse entrevoir que la grille de distribution une fois l’unité installée. L’installation du générateur de vapeur doit être faite dans une salle munie d’une entrée d’eau froide, d’une source d’électricité et d’un drain adéquat (EX : Salle de lavage, sous-sol, etc.). Le Split-Steam comprend un réservoir en acier inoxydable à déverrouillage rapide muni d’un drain de type siphon. Ce même réservoir ne comprend aucune connection électrique ou de tuyauterie facilitant ainsi la maintenance et le nettoyage. L’eau est drainée à une température sécuritaire n’excédant pas 60°C (140°F). Finalement, le Split-Steam est une unité très efficace et respectueuse de l’environnement.
